Delmar Washington, a television and film director, is known for his work spanning genres, such as award winning Crime Dramas ("Black Girl Missing," & “Abducted at an HBCU” Lifetime Original Movies, 2023|2024), Sci-Fi Film ("Outsiders," Theatrical Release, 2022), Short Film ("Worlds From Home," ALLBLK, 2022), and Sketch Comedy ("OH Affion," Kevin Hart's Laugh Out Loud, 2022). His portfolio also includes collaborations with Dave Chappelle, documenting his global concert tours and behind-the-scenes content from his Netflix specials and served as executive producer/director for the comedy series "Microphone Masters" (Comcast) and Affion Crockett's comedy special "Mirror II Society" (Peacock).

Delmar's journey began at 14, shooting his first award-winning movie, Understanding Others, which aired on PBS. He went on to work in London for Working Title Films and then to Hollywood, where he joined Stan Lathan’s team and served as the associate producer on several live shows for Comedy Central and HBO. In 2014, Delmar sold his first stand-up comedy series "Laff Mobb Presents,” to Showtime & BET Networks.

For AT&T U-verse, he led the production of "Chop Shop Boxing," a documentary series spotlighting boxing luminaries like Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao, and Canelo Alvarez. He also earned an NAACP Image Award nomination for his documentary "POSTCARDS: MANDELA." Delmar has also directed/produced the 2018 & 2020 ABFF HONORS, 2021 & 2022 BMAC Awards.

Business savvy and an entrepreneur, Delmar founded Ximen Media, meaning "God has heard" in Hebrew, in 2017. Under this banner, he develops, writes, and directs projects, emphasizing his commitment to significant social causes through public service announcements for organizations like the BlackandMissing Foundation, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, the Girls Scouts, and the Los Angeles Sparks (WNBA). With Ximen Media, he aims to spotlight the extraordinary achievements of ordinary individuals in his community.
